He finished his graduation and post-graduation from S D M College of Dental Sciences, Dharwad. He is a professor in the field of conservative dentistry and endodontics with 11 years of experience. He is practising advanced endodontics with special interest using microscopes. He is a member of the editorial board of Journal of Dentistry and Chief Editor of the endodontic section of the same journal.
